I have been an elected Independent Councillor for the last ten years and a community activist for over 20 years. I have proudly represented the communities of Dublin Central on the issues of concern to local residents. I have worked with many local clubs, organisation’s and groups across the area.

On a daily basis, I deal with people’s individual issues in a caring and confidential manner. I continue to campaign for quality affordable housing and decent employment, for accountable policing in our communities, for environmental improvements, a clampdown on illegal dumping and to ensure health, education, transport and sports facilities are accessible to all. I also had the honour of representing my city as Deputy Lord Mayor in 2016
